Big Weekend is a weekend for a community of believers to gather and worship One God as one body. It is an opportunity for students of all denominations to come together and display the love of Christ to each other and those who have not trusted Christ. John 13:35 says,

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.

That is our prayer and hope for Big Weekend 2008!

Imagine 700-1000 students, from different churches and denominations taking a Saturday afternoon to serve their community in the name of Jesus Christ. They will sort clothes, paint, pick up trash, help senior citizens, and homeless, all for purpose of displaying the love of Christ for Edmond and Oklahoma City.
